This triphas been amazing so far. We took a tgv on sunday morning from turin and we were in paris in the early afternoon. then we mounted the bikes and were ready for the adventure. we spent the afternoon and evening wondering around paris and finding pierre hermes chocolaterie because i wanted to try his macaron! it was kind of a trip but we got there and had 12 macaron for the after dinner snack and breakfast!! the gratest breakfast i’ve ever had!!!
on monday morning we were on the bikes quite early, leaving the hotel around 8 am. it was completely worth it. the parisienne were just waking up and wondering around the city was incredibly romantic. we crossed the bois de boulogne where we met so many joggers and headed to versailles…. i have no word to describe it! gorgeous and amazing and everithing. the castle was closed (not that good at planning i suppose…) so we could ‘only’ see the garden and the park. after this we went through the country side and its many many many many hills (sooooo tiring!!!!) and we arrived in rambouillet, a little town in the middle of the forest with a castle (of course!) a park, one hotel, and one restaurant. we spent the night in this quite and charming little city and were ready to go for an other day. next destination chartres!
